In the News: Eastman Kodak Co. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Based out of Rochester, New York, Kodak has served as an iconic player in photography, film processing, and the motion picture industry since the 1880s.

Also In the News: Super Bowl XLVI. Giants vs. Patriots. February 5. Some will watch for the football. Others will tune in for the commercials. (Or, will it be to see Madonna?) Also included this week are books and DVDs on the National Football League.

In the News: The New York Times and Wall Street Journal report that scores of homeless men and women throughout the country have settled in with local Occupy demonstrators, but some involved with the Occupy movement are questioning whether the homeless are there to join in the cause or simply to seek shelter, food, and safety.

Also In the News: It has been twenty years since Anita Hill took the stand and testified during the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Nominee Clarence Thomas where she accused him of workplace sexual harassment.

The article also mentioned that the multiracial population of American children sits at around 4.2 million, up by at least 50 percent since 2000.
