Version 2.0 is now live!
The new SearchWiSE provides a familiar, easy to use interface that also optimizes academic research. SearchWiSE is powered by the ProQuest Serials Solution’s product, Summon.
The new three-pane design should feel familiar to anyone who has used a major search engine lately.
- Facets and filters in the left pane focus on the results you need.
- The new discipline Facet makes it easy to zoom in on discipline-specific content.
- Highly Relevant Results take center stage in the middle pane.
- Content icons and flags make it easy to quickly see which resources are available online.
- Infinite scroll makes it simple to drive down the page to see even more relevant results.
- Image and newspaper content is packaged and spotlighted within the results.
- The brand new Topic Explorer pane, on the right, displays topical reference content, library generated research guides, and knowledgeable librarians.
- Highlights relevant reference content from Britannica Online and other library references.
- Retrieves the research guide relevant to your search (when available).
- Connects you to the appropriate subject librarian.
Other Features Include:
- The new Automated Query Expansion™ feature generates additional keywords and spelling variations for common searches.
- Flexible Advanced Search Form
