Fall, 2015: Our film, Stories on the Skin: Tattoo Culture at FAU is an Official Selection at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival. February 19, 2015: Ink on Film, films from the project, art and book exhibition, temporary tattoos, honoring our creative inspiration and visionary leader, Arthur Jaffe (1921-2015.)

January 9, 2015: Stories on the Skin: Tattoo Culture at FAU documentary screened at L-Dub Film Festival, Stonzek Theater, Lake Worth

April 15-June 23, 2014: Academic Ink and Academic Ink in the Studio, multi-media art exhibition featuring FAU students, faculty and staff. One West Gallery, Wimberly Library, FAU.

March 28, 2014: Academic Ink, a day of "tattoo culture" featuring art, dance, theater and music. With a keynote address by Margot Mifflin, author of Bodies of Subversion: A Secret History of Women and Tattoo. University Theater, FAU.

March, 2015: Dr. Leader's article on the project, "Stories on the Skin: Tattoo Culture at a South Florida University" has been published in the journal Arts and Humanities in Higher Education. March 12, 2012: Updates to "Read More,” “Stories on Film” “Student Tattoos” and we have started planning our fundraising Kickstarter campaign. 

October 7, 2011: New links have been added to Tattoos in the News and minor updates have been applied to the website.

June 1, 2011: New links have been added to Student Tattoos, where you can read about Student Body Art and order a catalogue, and Tattoos in the News , where Mike Tyson's tattoo is giving Warner Brothers a "Hangover."

May 11, 2011: We updated the Student Tattoos with information about the exhibition of our collection of student tattoos.  Please join us for our opening reception on May 21st in the Wimberly Library!

April 4, 2011: We updated the Student Tattoos and Facebook page with the photos from our two final (for the semester) Breezeway photoshoots.

March 25, 2011: We updated the Student Tattoos page with pictures from our most recent Breezeway photoshoot.  We have also updated the Facebook page with the same photos.  Find and tag yourself there!

March 18, 2011: We updated Share Your Stories (Phase 2) with our Call for Submission!  Submit your stories and ideas before April 11, 2011 to have a chance to be selected for our film.  Random entries will win prizes.

Feburary 24, 2011: We just created a Facebook page!  Like us, find your photo, and tell your friends!

February 18, 2011: We updated the Student Tattoos page with a new slideshow featuring all of the tattoos captured at FAU so far.

February 16, 2011: Updated the website with new layout and extra information on the upcoming project phases.
