FAU-Boca Raton (FAU-BR) faculty members can request a literature review for a research project.<\/p>\n

Please note the following when requesting a literature review:<\/p>\n

All requests for a literature review should receive confirmation of receipt within 2 business days.<\/p>\n

The head of Research and Instructional Services will review the request; determine the\u00a0scope of the literature review and its time frame; and select a library faculty member with relevant subjectexpertise. The head of RIS and the library faculty member will decide whether the Library faculty\u00a0member is able to undertake the literature review, and whether the Library has access to information\u00a0sources relevant to the project.<\/p>\n

The Librarian who conducts the review automatically is designated co-author on the project.
\nThe head of the Research and Instructional Services Department must approve a literature review request; no exceptions.
\nOnce the request is approved, the Library faculty member will contact the FAU-BR faculty member to
\nclarify project details.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, FAU-BR faculty can request a one-on-one consultation with a Library faculty at the
\nResearch Consultation Page for instruction on finding suitable literature.<\/p>\n
