In the News: <\/em><\/strong>Women in STEM <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Florida Atlantic University\u2019s Center for Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies<\/a> presented its 2013 Women\u2019s Leadership Forum on March 15. This year\u2019s event focused on Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and featured a keynote address by former NASA astronaut, Jan Davis, Ph.D. Women\u2019s History Month at FAU concludes this week with a meditation workshop, a discussion on women and leadership, Pampered OWLS, and a symposium on \u201cBoundaries, Bodies and Dissidence: Negotiating New Spaces of Feminist Knowledge.\u201d For more information visit the Women\u2019s History Month events page<\/a>\u00a0and a recent article published in the UP<\/a>, FAU’s student magazine.
