The topics  covered include:<\/p>\n<p>A)\u00a0 <em>Quickly Learning RefWorks\u2019 Basic Functions<\/em>: An account will be created, citations imported, and a bibliography generated.<\/p>\n<p>B)\u00a0\u00a0 <em>Creating a bibliography with in-text citations using Write-N-Cite III.<\/em> Write-N-Cite III provides more advanced functionality than the One  Line\/Cite View method; however, learning to use it takes a little more  time<\/p>\n<p>C)\u00a0\u00a0 <em>RefShare<\/em>: We\u2019ll show how the collaborative  tool within RefWorks can be used as a reading list. The commentary  function will also be shown.<\/p>\n<p><em>D) <\/em><em>RefMobile<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Using RefWorks to Quickly Import Citations and Write a Paper\u201d <\/strong>(45 minutes) &#8211; TCC, November 2nd at 9:30<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this session, you\u2019ll learn how to:<\/p>\n<p>A)\u00a0 Create an account<\/p>\n<p>B)\u00a0\u00a0 Directly import citations from two online databases<\/p>\n<p>C)\u00a0\u00a0 Organize citations; check them for accuracy<\/p>\n<p>D)\u00a0 Quickly create a bibliography for two ways:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>From a list or folder of citations in your RW account<\/li>\n<li>With in-text citations via the One line\/Cite View method<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Beyond Direct Export (45 minutes)<\/strong> &#8211; TCC, November 2nd at 11:00<\/p>\n<p>(<em>Note: This session is generally conducted later in the day, after attendees have attended either \u201cRefWorks Best Practices for the Classroom\u201d or \u201cUsing RefWorks to Quickly Import Citations and Write a Paper.\u201d<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>One of the easiest and most commonly used methods of adding references to your RefWorks database is called \u201cdirect export\u201d.\u00a0 Using this method you can quickly save search results from hundreds of online resources such as library catalogs or databases to RefWorks.
