In the News: <\/em>The 8.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Japan on March 11th<\/sup> triggered a tsunami that swept over the country\u2019s Pacific coast line. The death toll will likely exceed 10,000. Three nuclear reactors suffered partial meltdowns while another saw the release of radioactive material into the atmosphere.
