Shootings in Tucson, Arizona<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the News: <\/em>A gunman opened fire at a \u201cCongress on Your Corner\u201d meeting held in Tucson, Arizona on January 8. Six people were killed and 14 others were wounded. Among those who were shot include Gabrielle Giffords, a United States Congresswoman from Arizona\u2019s Eight District. In the aftermath of the shootings, some of the issues raised include gun control, freedom of speech, mass shootings, and mental health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
