CIAO (Columbia International Affairs online)

The most comprehensive source for theory and research in international affairs. It publishes a wide range of scholarship from 1991 onward that includes working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, proceedings from conferences, books, journals and policy briefs.


Inter-University Consortium for Social and Political Research

An archive of computer-based research and instructional data for the social sciences administered by the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan.


National Journal

National Journal is the leading weekly on politics, policy and government, providing authoritative, nonpartisan coverage and analysis of key political and policy developments.


PAIS International

Database chronicling global public policy and social issues. Provides selective subjects and bibliographic access to periodicals, books, hearings, reports, gray literature, government publications, Internet resources, and other publications from 120 countries.


STAT-USA

Provides access to authoritative U.S. business, economic and trade information from the Federal government. The STAT-USA link above is only accessible within the FAU Libraries [Boca, Davie, Jupiter, Tower only]. To access STAT-USA from anywhere (on or off-campus), log into your MyFAU account. After logging into MyFAU, click on the Library tab. The STAT-USA link appears at the bottom of the left column.

American Society for Public Administration

Since 1939, ASPA is a respected society representing all forums in the public service arena. They are advocates for greater effectiveness in government, agents of goodwill and professionalism, publishers of democratic journalism at its very best, purveyors of progressive theory and practice and providers of global citizenship. International City/County Management Association

ICMA is the professional and educational organization for chief appointed managers, administrators, and assistants in cities, towns, counties, and regional entities throughout the world. Since 1914, ICMA has provided technical and management assistance, training, and information resources to its members and the local government community. The management decisions made by ICMA's 9,000 members affect nearly 185 million individuals in thousands of communities--from small towns with populations of a few hundred to metropolitan areas serving several million.

National Academy of Public Administration

National Governors Association Online

Founded in 1908, the National Governors Association (NGA) is the collective voice of the nation's governors and one of Washington, D.C.'s, most respected public policy organizations. NGA provides governors and their senior staff members with services that range from representing states on Capitol Hill and before the Administration on key federal issues to developing policy reports on innovative state programs and hosting networking seminars for state government executive branch officials.
