Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting

The national watch group that critically examines media bias and censorship. As a whole, the organization advocates for greater diversity in the press and media. Publishes the bi-monthly magazine, Extra!


Journalism.org

Site jointly run by the Project for Excellence in Journalism (PEJ) whose goal it is to "use research rather than merely criticism to clarify and raise the standards of American journalism," and the Committee of Concerned Journalists, a consortium of reporters, editors, producers, and academics.


Pacifica Radio

Non-profit listener-sponsored radio network that comprises five stations through the U.S. Part of its mission is to promote cultural diversity and freedom of the press.


International Federation of Journalists

World-wide organization of journalists established in 1926 that represents 450,000 members in 100 countries. Part of its mission is to promote action to defend freedom of the press and social justice internationally. The organization is based in Brussels, Belgium.
