AIDS & Cancer Research

Comprehensive database provides bibliographic data from the worldwide scientific literature as related to AIDS, immunology, virology and cancer genetics. Information featured in the database concentrates on both basic science research and clinical applications. Coverage from 1982 to present.

Search multiple databases covering biological and medical sciences.


Calcium and Calcified Tissue Abstracts

Includes current intensive research in bone metabolism, tooth development, nerve transmission, muscle contraction, hormone secretion, and many other critical fields which have brought the role of calcium to the forefront of biology.


Cambridge Scientific Abstracts

An interdisciplinary group of databases that offer citations and abstracts to research literature in biology, biomedicine, and biotechnology.CancerLit The National Cancer Institute database that provides bibliographic citations and abstracts to literature pertaining to all aspects of cancer therapy. Included are experimental and clinical cancer therapy; chemical, viral, and other cancer causing agents; mechanisms of carcinogenesis; biochemistry, immunology, and physiology of cancer; and mutagen and growth factor studies.


CINAHL

The online version of The Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature. Provides citations to more than 1200 journals, with more than 7000 full-text records. The database also provides access to healthcare books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of professional practice, educational software, and audiovisual materials.


Elsevier Science Direct

A searchable database that provides full-text versions of approximately 650 traditional research journals in the disciplines of science, technology, and medicine.


Health and Wellness Resource Center

Topics in health and medicine, medications, and wellness. Includes encyclopedias, directories, medical dictionary, magazines, journals and newspapers.


Health Reference Center - Academic

Provides articles on: fitness, pregnancy, medicine, nutrition, diseases, public health, occupational health and safety, alcohol and drug abuse, HMOs, prescription drugs, etc.


History of Science, Technology, and Medicine

Contains records describing journal articles, conference proceedings, books, book reviews, and dissertations in the history of science, technology, medicine and allied historical fields reflecting the contents of more than 1,000 journals


Immunology Abstracts

Covers topics from cancer and vaccine research to immune deficiencies and autoimmunity.


Neurosciences Abstracts: CSA

The journal covers all aspects of vertebrate and invertebrate neuroscience, emphasizing basic research studies but also including such devastating neural diseases as Alzheimer's.


OVID Online

Collection of databases covering aquatic sciences, psychology, social sciences, medical sciences, and government research reports. (Includes Journals@Ovid Full Text, Evidenced Based Medicine Reviews and CINAHL.)


PubMed/MEDLINE

Combines Medline, the premier database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences with PreMedline, the database that provides basic citation information and abstracts before the full records are prepared and added to MEDLINE.


SciFinder Scholar

SpringerLink

Provides access to scholarly journals in business, law, medicine, humanities, science, and social science disciplines. This resource also provides access to the following book series: Lecture Notes in Physics and Topics in Current Chemistry .


Toxicology Abstracts

Toxicology Abstracts covers issues from social poisons and substance abuse to natural toxins, from legislation and recommended standards to environmental issues.


TOXLINE

Provides access to information in all areas of toxicology, including chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pesticides, environmental pollutants, and mutagens and teratogens.


Virology and AIDS Abstracts

Comprehensive coverage of the world literature on every aspect of virology in humans, animals, and plants


Web of Science

Three unique citation databases which allow searching cited references as well as traditional searches independently or in combination: the Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Arts and Humanities Citation Index.


Wiley InterScience

Access to 194 full-text journals plus 121 titles with abstracts only.
