Database provides chronologies and summaries of significant events. It also suggests topics for study and research sources to support them.


Historical Abstracts

Source abstracts and indexes literature originating in countries other than the U.S. and Canada. The scope of coverage is 1450- present.


JSTOR

Comprehensive archive of important scholarly journal literature included in this broad scope database. Many full text journal articles are available.


New York Times

Provides coverage of national and international news, plus coverage of important speeches and documents, Supreme Court decisions and presidential press conference transcripts.


Historical New York Times

Offers full-page-images and article images from the New York Times from its first issue in 1851 to three years before the current date. The collection includes digital reproductions of every page from every issue, cover to cover, in downloadable PDF files.


Proquest Dissertations & Theses

Provides bibliographic citations, abstracts and selected full-text of doctoral dissertations and selected master’s theses.
