ARTstor is a non-profit initiative, founded by The Andrew W.Mellon Foundation, with a mission to use digital technology to enhance scholarship, teaching and learning in the arts and associated fileds. The leading databases for art literature, indexes articles in hundreds of journals and magazines on primarily art history but also related disciplines, such as video and architecture. Indexes reproductions of images found in art journals. Complete indexing coverage from 1929 to present, with some full text content from 1984 to present.


Grove Art Online

Contains 45,000 articles on every aspect of the visual arts--painting, sculpture, graphic arts, architecture, decorative arts, and photography--from prehistory to the present day. Includes access to the Bridgeman Art Library of over 70,000 digitized works of art. Also available in Print (call number REF N31 .D5 1996).


Index to 19th-Century American Art Periodicals

Indexes 42 art journals published in the US during the 19th century, providing nearly complete coverage of journals from this period including the entire journal contents, (articles, illustrations, stories, advertisements), thus providing information on popular culture and industry, artists and illustrators, painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, architecture and design, exhibitions and sales, decorations, and collecting.
