Cambridge Scientific Abstracts

An interdisciplinary group of databases that offer citations and abstracts to research literature in biology, biomedicine, and biotechnology.CancerLit The National Cancer Institute database that provides bibliographic citations and abstracts to literature pertaining to all aspects of cancer therapy. Included are experimental and clinical cancer therapy; chemical, viral, and other cancer causing agents; mechanisms of carcinogenesis; biochemistry, immunology, and physiology of cancer; and mutagen and growth factor studies.


CINAHL

The online version of The Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature. Provides citations to more than 1200 journals, with more than 7000 full-text records. The database also provides access to healthcare books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of professional practice, educational software, and audiovisual materials.


Elsevier Science Direct

A searchable database that provides full-text versions of approximately 650 traditional research journals in the disciplines of science, technology, and medicine.


Health and Wellness Resource Center

Provides bibliographic references, abstracts, and full-text. Also includes a medical dictionary, excerpts from reference books, contact information for support groups, hotlines for research centers, and pamphlets issued by leading health organizations.


MEDLINE

The National Institute of Health-National Library of Medicine database that contains citations and abstracts from over 3700 journals. Covers all areas of medicine including clinical medicine, experimental medicine, dentistry, nursing, health services administration, nutrition, and more. Some full text articles are linked through OVID or FirstSearch.


Natural Medicine Comprehensive Database

Provides evidence-based, clinical information on natural medicines, herbal medicines, and dietary supplements used in the western world.
