A documentary of the last ten days of the Rolling Stones’ 1969 tour of the United States, focusing on two shows, one at Madison Square Garden in New York and the other, a free concert at the Altamont Speedway in California, where a young man was killed during violence between the crowd and the Hell’s Angels “security” guards. Three others also died. Includes performances by Ike and Tina Turner, the Jefferson Airplane and the Flying Burrito Brothers. This special version also contains never-before-seen performances from the Madison Square Garden show in 1969.
